4 to 6 pm: Stinking Water Slalom Course Open & Registration (Hayden Arch Bridge)
Saturday, August 19th, 2017
At 8:30 am, a competitor shuttle will depart from behind the bandshell at City Park in downtown Cody. Look for the Gradient Mountain Sports van and boat trailer.
10:30 am: Men’s Stinking Water Slalom Kayak Race (Hayden Arch Bridge)
12:30 pm: Women’s & Youth Stinking Water Slalom Kayak Races (Hayden Arch Bridge)
Kayakers compete in a slalom course with great public viewing opportunities. Class II whitewater competition through upstream and downstream hanging gates, two timed runs.
3 pm: Shoshone Canyon Race
Immediately following the Slalom is the Shoshone Canyon Race, a boater-cross style race through the Class IV Shoshone Canyon.

Sunday, August 21st, 2016
11 am: Stinking Water Sprint Downriver Race (DeMaris to Belfry Bridge Access)
The Stinking Water Sprint will take place on the Shoshone River between DeMaris hot springs and the Belfry Bridge River Access. The course for this fun downriver race for all ages and abilities is approximately 6 miles long and traverses through Class II water. Hardsided boats, stand-up paddleboards, inflatables, and rafts are all welcome. Previous paddling experience on this stretch of the river is highly recommended.
A competitor shuttle will leave the Belfry River Access parking lot at 10 am to transport boaters to the race put-in at DeMaris. Look for the Gradient Mountain Sports van and boat trailer.
12 pm: BBQ & Awards Ceremony (Belfry Bridge Access)
